Located 5 miles from downtown Walnut Creek, California, North Peak Equestrian is home to a select group of trainers who specialize in dressage, equitation, hunters, jumpers, and pleasure riding. Nestled among the open fields and gently rolling hills of the East Bay Regional Park District, the ever-improving facility features one of the most progressive equestrian sport venues in the San Francisco Bay Area with 10 acres that include permanent stabling for 155 horses, large paddocks, 3 arenas, 2 longe pens, and generous bridle walks. North Peak Equestrian riders enjoy direct access to Mount Diablo Regional Park’s open space and miles of trails to explore.

What is the North Peak Equestrian position of Safe Sport?

North Peak Equestrian will comply with all requirements for amateur sport as set forth in the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act and will refer all complaints to the United States Center for Safe Sport for independent investigation. North Peak Equestrian shall uphold standards equal to those set forth in the Equestrian NGB’s Safe Sport Policy. North Peak Equestrian shall give full reciprocity to any sanctions imposed by the U.S. Center for Safe Sport as published on the Centralized Disciplinary Database.

North Peak Equestrian takes horse and horse herd safety and welfare very seriously. When we built this facility, we had the horse in mind at every stage. From arenas and footing, to feed, stabling, and turnouts.

To bring a horse into North Peak Equestrian, you must produce a valid health certificate, proof of a negative Coggins test within the past 12 months, and written proof of the administration of the vaccine for Equine Herpes Virus and Equine Influenza for each horse that enters North Peak Equestrian (stabled or ship in).

All horses and paperwork will be evaluated by the management. Horses without the required paperwork will be denied admission to the facility.

North Peak Equestrian considers the welfare of the horse a guiding priority. It is a safe, and special, place for our riders and for their horses.

Please consult with your treating veterinarian for recommended vaccines for horses traveling to or resident in California.
